The interior of the theatre was impressively grand. The theatre featured movies such as “The Taming of the Shrew” starring Canada’s own Mary Pickford and American Douglas Fairbanks. A provincial court building was built to the west of the theatre site. (The name of the Capitol is misspelled on the mural.)
