The well-known Cornwall City Band is pictured here as the “First Prize Winner of Senator Wilson’s Band Competition at Coteau-du-Lac”. The names of all the musicians are listed. Thomas Eldridge was born in 1877 in London, England, and served 16 years with the Rifle Brigade in London, he died in 1952 and is buried at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery — he was Director of the Cornwall City band in 1933.
