The former Transport Canada Training Institute on the North side of Hwy 2, East, later known as the Nav Centre. It was a 560-guest room conference centre. From their website: “The Nav Centre combines the technical sophistication of a modern learning centre with the comfort and amenities of a resort hotel.” The facility has once again changed ownership, its name, and its purpose. Devcore is a Conference Centre and Hotel but for several years it has been designated a temporary arrival centre for new immigrants to Canada.
