The Cosey Corner Cabins were situated on the North side of Hwy 2 (now Second Street West) west of Riverdale Avenue. For many years, these serviceable individual cabins were a popular stopping place for weary travelers. Cosey Corner Cabins advertised showers and private toilets, hot and cold running water. The business was owned and operated by Louise and James Blackadder. Recently, the area has been developed and the location where the cabins existed is called Blackadder Drive. There was a small creek and pond near the cabins. Today this is an attractive and well-designed drainage reservoir that feeds under Second Street into the canal.
