Cornwall, Ontario. Fires of 1933. The fire hall, police station, town hall and music hall.

The fire hall, police station, town hall and music hall.

The City Hall, Police Station, and Fire Hall were all located in this landmark building on Pitt Street between Third and Fourth Streets. The small door in the end wall was the “side door” into the Police Station. The larger door was the Station’s main door. The wide doors at the north end accommodated the firehouse equipment. Town Council held their meetings upstairs also used as a Music Hall. In later years the tower was removed.
