St. John’s Presbyterian Church

St. John’s Presbyterian Church with ornate towers (They have since been removed.) This striking design was the work of Sidney Rose Badgley in 1888-89. Badgley revolutionized church architecture by departing from the standard cruciform plans and devising asymmetrical compositions of tower, portico, assembly hall and Sunday School, an arrangement that is said to be ‘best shown’ at St. John’s, Cornwall.
