The Y-shaped sidewalk of Trinity Manse fills the left foreground of this photo. Montroe & Cottrell are at the corner of Second and Augustus. They moved to this location after the Great Fire of 1933. On the left is the large oval sign of the Esso station operated by Mike Lapensee and George Myers.
The brick wall of the Capitol theatre, with its lighted marquee, is next, and over top of the theatre, the Seaway Building can be seen.
