Built by the Wood family it became the United Counties Museum. Situated on land owned by Domtar Fine Papers, the house was moved to public property in Lamoureux Park. It is now known as the Cornwall Community Museum. 

The museum displays change throughout the year and drops by to see “what’s new…” or perhaps “what’s OLD” —is encouraged!
