Pitt Street looking north after 1933. Cornwall, Ontario

Pitt Street looking north after 1933.

On the right are early offices of the Standard-Freeholder, dating this card after 1932 when the two Cornwall newspapers (The Standard and The Freeholder) amalgamated.  The white sign (on the right) is “Segals” – a ladies’ dress shop and further north is the New York Cafe.
