There it is! The Copeland Block. The round, arched windows of the building can be seen on the left of Pitt Street at the southeast corner of Third Street. This view of Pitt Street may have been taken from the tower of the fire station North of Third Street. The view looks South toward the river. The post office tower is visible on the right and the early, ornate towers of St. John’s Presbyterian Church on Second Street, are visible towards the left. This photo was taken before the Great Fire of 1933.
