The following postcards are for motels built along Brookdale Avenue and Vincent Massey Drive in the expectation that the Seaway would create a boom for tourism business in the area. Travelers have been a constant source of business, but the promised Seaway “boom” never arrived, especially after 401 Highway created a bypass around Cornwall.
