Frogmore Lodge on Pitt Street. Cornwall, Ontario

Frogmore Lodge on Pitt Street.

This is a photograph of Frogmore Lodge. This Victorian-style duplex was built on the northwest corner of Pitt and Fifth Streets. Frogmore Lodge is the name of a large estate in Great Britain, but Cornwall Wags claimed this house earned its name because it was built close to Fly Creek where the song of the frog could be heard loud and long. The house was also said to be haunted which made finding tenants – difficult.
