On the left is Dover’s Men’s Wear – the sign features the brand name “Burberry Coats.” The large building opposite the Bank of Commerce and is Fullerton’s Drug Store today. Beyond, is a large sign for Yates-China-Electric. Yates was earlier on Pitt Street but sold the property and moved to Second Street. Further west is the Cornwallis Hotel. Interestingly too is the “island” to the right of the trolley tracks to assist passengers embarking and disembarking the trolley cars.
