Nighttime view of Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario

Nighttime view of Pitt Street.

This night-time photo shows almost the same view as the previous card.

Jack Lee’s Restaurant was formerly a Loblaws grocery store. The Metropolitan has modernized its name to “Met.”

On the right can be seen a sign “To 401”.

It was fun to drive down Pitt Street at night and see all the neon signs.

My favourite was Tip Top Tailor on the northeast corner of Pitt and Third Street. The center letters “I” and “O” rotated while the others stayed in place. Not only did the sign light up – it revolved!
