In the days before the Seaway, when Hwy 2 traveled along (what is now) Second Street West to communities such as Moulinette and Aultsville there were several hotels, B&Bs, and Cabins along “Old Hwy 2” that provided comfortable, affordable sleeping quarters for travelers. The caption on the back of this card reads: “Cornwall Motor Hotel, 1424 Second St. West, 22 modern units, wall-to-wall carpeting, TV, radio and telephones in rooms, switchboard service. Restaurant on premises. Overlooking the beautiful St. Lawrence Seaway. Open year-round. Your hosts Sam and Donna Borkovich.”
