Cornwall General Hospital.

Cornwall General Hospital.

In 1923, the town of Cornwall was one square mile with a population of 11,000. The eastern border of the town was Marlborough Street. The General Hospital was built outside the town border in (what was then known as) Cornwall Township. The street in front of the hospital was named Manchester Street but later became Second Street when Town and Township were amalgamated.
